What You Need to Know About the Scheduled Cleaning

Important Info About Your Upcoming Cleaning Project

Please Read Before Entering Any Cleaning Zone

Grime Time, Inc. is performing a scheduled deep cleaning project in your facility. This may include floor care, sanitizing, power washing, or other high-impact cleaning services in areas like restrooms, kitchens, hallways, workstations, or production zones. Even if your department isn’t the main focus, you may still be affected by temporary closures, blocked access, or safety concerns.

⚠️ Safety First — Read Before You Enter

Our team is trained to work safely and professionally—but if we’re not expecting foot traffic, accidents can happen.

During this project, you may encounter:

  • Wet or waxed floors that are extremely slippery

  • Loud machinery and sharp tools in use

  • Flying dust, water spray, or debris

  • Chemical fumes from disinfectants or floor finishes

  • Power tools with blades and moving parts

  • Limited visibility due to equipment or obstructions

We strongly advise against entering the area while work is underway. Doing so could result in:

  • Slips, falls, or chemical exposure

  • Footprints cured into freshly waxed floors

  • Damage to equipment or unfinished surfaces

  • Delays or added costs to your organization

✅ What You Should Do to Prepare

Take a few minutes before the project begins to avoid disruption and keep things running smoothly:

  • Move small or water-sensitive items off the floor (trash cans, boxes, electronics, paper goods, personal items)

  • Retrieve anything you’ll need during the cleaning window—like food from break room fridges or items from lockers

  • Avoid leaving cardboard, open containers, or valuable items in or near the work zone

  • Do not touch or move any Grime Time equipment

  • Respect all caution tape and posted signage

Large stationary items (desks, filing cabinets, refrigerators) do not need to be moved—we’ll work around them.

⏱️ How Long Will It Take?

Every project is a little different, so exact timing can vary. You’ll find the project schedule listed on the original noticewhere you scanned the QR code.

If anything changes, we’ll notify your manager or point of contact right away so your team can adjust as needed.

In general:

  • Most cleaning projects are completed within a few hours

  • Complicated projects could take days or weeks

  • Floors are usually safe to walk on after ~1.5 hours

  • Full curing takes up to 24 hours, especially for waxed or refinished floors

We’ll confirm when it’s safe to reenter the space—just keep in mind that walking on floors too early can damage the finish or leave permanent marks.

🔄 After We’re Done

  • We’ll do our best to return the space to its original setup, but since we’re not in the environment daily, please plan to arrive a bit early if you want to adjust or reorganize your area

  • Some items may be left off the floor until drying is complete—this protects the newly cleaned surface

  • Avoid dragging items across freshly waxed floors to prevent scuffing or damage

🔐 Need Access or Have Questions?
